What you'll do

Plants give us an opportunity to learn the principles of care and growth. Queer culture is rooted in the belief we all have worth, and are worth investing in. Growth is slow and takes patience, dedication, and care.

Expressing yourself is brave and important. Our plant workshop honors this legacy of pride.

While potting unique plants we will discuss some of the following topics.

🏳️‍🌈 Queer culture - the importance of being yourself and challenges in getting there

🏳️‍🌈 Celebration of being comfortable in our own skin. A foundation of queerness.

🏳️‍🌈 Things about us we feel we are judged for rather than celebrated.

🏳️‍🌈 Owning our self-expression and uniqueness. Ways we might feel freer to express ourselves.

Delivered in each kit

🏳️‍🌈 1 plant (cacti, succulent, etc)

🏳️‍🌈 1 specialized soil packet

🏳️‍🌈 1 small pot

🏳️‍🌈 Gardening gloves

🏳️‍🌈 Decorations for the pot
