What you'll do
Enjoy the process of customizing your own scented candle!
Moonshot Studio is a haven for your sense of smell and is an inspiration to create your own signature scent blends and custom candles in a fun process of “scentsory” discovery.
You will start off the creative experience by exploring the 80+ fragrances to pick out a selection of favorites. With a little guidance from our staff, you will then curate a list and develop a scent combination that will be crafted at the blending bar. After creating a perfect scent blend, each individual pours and stirs their scent blend into a wax-filled, 8.5 oz. candle jar of choice, where it will then cool and receive some finishing touches from our staff before going home with participants.
Important Information
- Setting the Candles: Candles require 90 minutes after pouring for cooling, finishing touches and packaging. Arrangements for pick-up, either later in the same day, or another day can be coordinated with your Moonshot Studio host.
- Your team will have the private event space exclusively, but the blending bar will be open to the public.
- You may BYOB!

Moonshot Studio
Moonshot Studio owner Teresa Fitzgerald finished a non-profit and corporate management career in 2019, and was considering new ways to connect with her community and form a business with elements of artistry and fun. The idea to develop her own scent and candle studio in San Francisco was born and nurtured in early 2020. Following months of delays related to the COVID-19 pandemic, she then resumed business development, secured a beautifully-renovated location in Noe Valley, and opened Moonshot Studio in September 2021 as a new retail business, special event site and creative space.
