To celebrate the Lunar New Year -- the Year of the Rabbit, Jojo will be teaching the art of traditional Chinese calligraphy basics. We'll start off the experience by getting to know our host and the history of this art form. We will then learn how to properly hold the brush, how to write basic strokes and characters, and finally practice writing a few New Year sayings.

Jojo Calligraphy
Jojo's art practice is based in the rich and beautiful tradition of Chinese calligraphy, one of the most traditional art forms in the world and a true representation of Eastern art and culture. Her grandfather inspired and taught her to practice Chinese calligraphy from a young age, and she continues to have more love for it every day. By introducing her experience and passion, she presents a modern twist to traditional Chinese calligraphy. Jojo's work strikes a delicate balance between traditional calligraphy art with a personal flair.
