Nature: The Timeless Healer

For thousands of years, humans have gone to nature for survival and for healing, but with today’s fast-paced lifestyle and our dependence on technology, our relationship with Mother Earth has been severed.

We have forgotten how to connect. We have forgotten how to show reciprocity. We have forgotten that humans and nature are intrinsically tied together.

This guided experience will help you re-connect with who you are and with the natural environment around you, offering open ended sensory invitations that will encourage playfulness, curiosity, and a sense of wonder. After each invitation, come back as a group and share - breakouts or word. End each group session with katie sharing quotes or insights and asking someone else to share how they want to end (gesture, movement, sound, word, quote)

Together we will go through a series of invitations and questions to get grounded:

  1. Pleasure of Presence - Getting grounded in the space around to establish a connection to yourself, your sense and the surrounds
  2. What’s in motion - Take it slow. What else is in motion around you, what exists beyond us (ants, bees, other people, etc.)
  3. Connected to a sense - Wonder out and explore the colors around you, the textures, smells, sounds and then see where you end up.
